Amman, Nov. 30 (Petra)- Head of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Committee Yousef Shawarebeh inspected the Al-Qweismeh area on Sunday to review local operations and citizen services.
During his visit, Shawarebeh met with the area director, Bilal Freihat, and the executive staff, emphasizing the need to accelerate electronic transaction processing to boost public confidence and enhance institutional performance.
He called for heightened readiness for the winter season and solutions to traffic congestion, including removing obstacles from streets and sidewalks, expanding road capacity, and facilitating pedestrian movement. He also stressed the importance of continuous cleanliness monitoring and intensified field efforts to maintain consistent service delivery.
Shawarebeh also visited the Abu Alanda Archiving Center, accompanied by Executive Director of IT, Sultan Kharabsheh. He reviewed operations related to electronic archiving of building documents, examining the center’s readiness and digital processes for document preservation. He highlighted the center’s role in maintaining reliable electronic records, providing an accessible database, and facilitating citizen access to services.
