
Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest 48 Palestinians from Various Areas in West BankOccupied Jerusalem, 18 Aug (ONA) — Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign, arresting 48 Palestinians from several areas in the West Bank.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinians from Qalqilya and another from the town of Asira Al-Shamaliya, after raiding and searching their homes.
Israeli occupation forces also arrested 33 workers from the village of Umm Tuba, south of Jerusalem, on the pretext that they lacked permits. In recent months, hundreds of workers have been arrested and abused by Israeli police.
In Bethlehem, occupation forces arrested 12 Palestinians after raiding and ransacking their homes.
