Amman, May 12 (Petra) – Jordan’s national Paralympic weightlifting team secured two additional gold medals at the World Cup in Tbilisi, Georgia, raising the country’s gold tally to four.
Paralympic athlete Khattab clinched first place in the 97 kg weight category with a successful lift of 240 kg, while Asmaa Issa claimed the gold medal in the 79 kg category after lifting 125 kg.
These achievements follow earlier victories by Omar Qaradah and Mohammed Obaidi, underscoring the team’s strong performance in the international competition.
