“While Syria faces serious challenges, it also holds great opportunities,” Safadi said. “The more we coordinate and work together, the more we can harness these opportunities to the benefit of Syria and its people.”

Safadi warned that the gravest threats to Syria’s security and stability come from external sources, foremost among them the renewed Israeli aggression and attempts to interfere in Syrian affairs and sow division.
He said Jordan categorically rejects such actions and is working to raise global awareness about their dangers.

“Israel has no right to attack Syrian territory. Israel has no right to fuel tension and division within Syria. Israeli interventions will not bring Israel security, and they will only bring more destruction and ruin to Syria.”

Safadi said Syria now faces a historic opportunity to be safe and stable and to offer its people a dignified life after years of conflict. He urged the international community to adopt a clear stance in confronting threats to this opportunity including Israeli aggression and extremist ideologies that Jordan and its partners are working to defeat.

“A safe and stable Syria is a sovereign and united Syria where all citizens enjoy their full rights,” Safadi said. “This is what we in the Kingdom fully support, and we are coordinating with our Turkish brothers, Arab states, and the international community to achieve this.”

Safadi underscored the importance of stability in southern Syria, which borders Jordan and represents part of its strategic national security. “We want southern Syria and all of Syria to enjoy peace and stability, free from terrorist threats or Israeli interference.”

He said Jordan is working closely with Syria, Turkey, Arab nations, and the international community to end Israeli aggression and compel Israel to respect Syrian sovereignty, enabling Syria to move forward with reconstruction and secure lasting stability for its people.

He reaffirmed Jordan’s continued efforts until Israel withdraws from all Syrian territory and ceases its interference in Syrian affairs.

Safadi added that the coming phase will witness increased coordination and tangible, practical steps forward.

Turning to the Palestinian issue, Safadi said his counterparts and he discussed the situation in Gaza, stressing that Israel’s aggression must end and that the international community can no longer remain silent in the face of the destruction and suffering inflicted on the Palestinian people.

He warned that Israel cannot continue to deprive Palestinians of food, water, and medicine, calling such actions a blatant violation of international law and a crime that must be stopped.
