Jordanian delegation concludes participation in Cairo disability arts festival

Cairo, Sept. 25 (Petra) – A delegation from the Jordanian Association for People with Disabilities and the Prince Ali bin Al Hussein Club for the Deaf concluded its participation in “Awladna /Our Children” International Festival for the Arts of People with Disabilities, held in Cairo, with participation of artistic groups from around the world.

In remarks to “Petra” Thursday, the delegation said their performances reflected Jordan’s heritage and folk art, highlighting the cultural message of people with disabilities and their ability to “excel in expressive arts.”

The delegation added that their engagement affirms Jordan’s presence in regional and international cultural forums, calling for integrating persons with disabilities into society and enhancing their role in spreading culture through art.

The delegates also expressed appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II for his support and belief in their potential.

In a meeting at the embassy headquarters, the team met with Jordan’s Ambassador and the Permanent Representative to Arab league in Egypt, Amjad Adayleh, who commended their role in representing Jordan abroad.
