Amman, Aug. 13 (Petra) – The crews and personnel of the Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/83 arrived in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening, implementing royal directives to assist the people of Gaza and mitigate the humanitarian impact of the ongoing war.
The hospital commander stated that medical teams have completed all necessary technical and administrative preparations to begin operations and receive patients with diverse injuries. The facility will provide comprehensive medical, nursing, and technical care, ensuring efficient and effective services to residents of the Gaza Strip.
The previous deployment, Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/82, recently returned to Jordan after treating 59,056 patients and performing 93 major and minor surgeries. Since the onset of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Jordanian field hospitals have delivered approximately 257,793 medical services.
