
Amman, Feb. 2 (Petra) – In implementation of the Royal directives and within the framework of the Kingdom’s ongoing support for Palestinian brethren, Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus/5 continues to provide its medical and humanitarian services in the city of Nablus by its qualified medical and nursing staff.
In a statement Sunday, the hospital’s commander said the makeshift healthcare facility continues to perform its humanitarian and medical duties with “all efficiency and competence” to meet needs of the Nablus city’s people.
The commander also stressed hospital workers’ “keenness” to provide the “best” levels of health care in various medical specialties.
Meanwhile, the hospital director announced the facility received and treated 17,352 cases since it started its operations on December 22 last year, including 294 major and minor surgeries, adding that it also treated multiple medical cases and provided the necessary medicines and treatments to patients.
For their part, Nablus people valued the Kingdom’s efforts to support the Palestinian people, praising the “continuous” support and “firm” positions that reflect the “deep-rooted” relations between the two brotherly peoples.
The hospital began its work on November 23, 2023, and dealt with 165,578 cases since its inception.
