
Karak, Feb. 12 (Petra) – The Greater Karak Municipality has received funding from Japan’s Grassroots Human Security Grant Program (GGP) to purchase two waste collection trucks, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of waste management operations in the city.
Municipality President Mohammad Maaytah told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the funding is a significant step toward improving public cleanliness services. The new trucks will help reduce pressure on the municipality’s fleet and improve the quality of service provided to citizens.
He added that the municipality is working through this initiative to develop a more sustainable waste management system, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for the residents of Karak.
