KSRelief, JHCO Continue Emergency Food Aid for Refugees, Needy Families

Amman, Aug. 11 (Petra) – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), is continuing the implementation of its emergency food aid project, benefiting more than 25,000 individuals, including Syrian and Palestinian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian families across the Kingdom’s governorates. The initiative seeks to address the growing economic and living challenges facing these groups.

The JHCO said food coupons are being distributed to thousands of eligible families under a systematic plan that ensures equitable access to assistance for the most vulnerable segments of society. The program aims to help alleviate daily living burdens, meet essential food needs, and uphold the dignity of beneficiaries.

The project is operating through 103 accredited stores across the Kingdom, enabling beneficiaries to obtain essential food items at reasonable prices and assured quality, thereby enhancing program efficiency and ensuring consistent service delivery.

Several beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that has met their urgent needs and reinforced their sense of food security amid current challenges.

The initiative forms part of a broader series of humanitarian programs jointly implemented by KSRelief and the JHCO under their strategic partnership, reflecting the strong ties between Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
