MSF Delegation Visits Jordanian Field Hospital Force 7 in Southern Gaza

Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) – A delegation from Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières – MSF) on Tuesday visited the Jordanian Field Hospital Force 7 in southern Gaza, where they were received by the hospital force commander and director.

The delegation received a detailed briefing on the hospital’s mission and its medical, therapeutic, and humanitarian services, which contribute to alleviating the humanitarian challenges faced by the population due to the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

Members of the delegation toured the hospital’s departments and facilities and were briefed on work progress and available medical specialties. They expressed appreciation for the significant role and noble mission of the hospital’s staff, noting that the facility serves as a medical refuge for residents of Khan Yunis and surrounding neighborhoods amid the difficult circumstances in the Gaza Strip.

The visit was part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to maintain communication and cooperation with medical organizations and institutions in Gaza, which play a vital role in supporting its humanitarian mission.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation praised Jordan’s efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting and assisting the steadfastness of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Founded in 1971 in France by a group of doctors and journalists, MSF operates in more than 70 countries, providing emergency medical assistance to those affected by conflict, natural disasters, epidemics, and lack of healthcare.
