Irbid, Aug. 12 (Petra) – Head of the Barqash Municipality Committee, Katheeb Ghazawi, met with a delegation from EcoPeace Middle East to discuss plans for establishing an eco-park in the area.
During a field visit as part of joint cooperation, the delegation inspected the land allocated for the project and reviewed the proposed site for commencement of work, along with preliminary designs and future implementation mechanisms.
The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between Barqash Municipality and EcoPeace to support sustainable environmental development and expand green spaces for the benefit of local residents and visitors.
Ghazawi stressed the importance of such partnerships in advancing the municipality’s efforts to enhance Barqash’s environmental and tourism infrastructure, expressing hope the project will achieve its intended goals.
