Oman, Algeria Explore areas of Cooperation in Transport, LogisticsMuscat, 9 Apr (ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology today held an official talks session with the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.During the session, the two sides explored areas of bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics and means of developing them.The session was headed from the Omani side by Eng. Said Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. Meanwhile, the Algerian side was headed by Said Sayoud, Minister of Transport.The Algerian delegation’s programme includes visiting Salalah Port and Freezone tomorrow “Thursday”. During these visits, the delegation will view Oman’s experiences in the transport and logistics sector.The talks session was attended by several undersecretaries, officials and specialists from both sides.—-Ends/AG
