Welcomes Yemen Prisoners Exchange Agreement Signed in Muscat

23 Dec 2025 (ONA) — The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the agreement signed in
Muscat regarding the exchange of prisoners in Yemen. Oman praised the positive
spirit that prevailed throughout the negotiations, which took place from 9-23
December.
Oman
commended the cooperation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the efforts of the
Office of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, the International Committee of the
Red Cross, and all parties involved in the negotiations. Oman notes that these
collective efforts contributed to reaching this significant humanitarian
agreement, expressing hope that it will create the necessary conditions to
address other outstanding issues related to the situation in the Republic of
Yemen.
