Amman, January 5 (Petra) – MPs of the Parliamentary Health and Food Committee participated in an official visit to Turkey, during which ways to enhance cooperation in liver and organ transplantation were discussed.
In a statement issued on Monday, Committee head Ahmad Sarahneh said that a series of meetings were held to review Turkey’s experience in organ transplantation and to explore the possibility of providing Jordanian patients with preferential rates for transplant surgeries.
He added that discussions addressed mechanisms for exchanging medical expertise between Jordan and Turkey, which would help improve the quality of healthcare services provided to patients in Jordan.
Sarhaneh said the Committee is committed to expanding cooperation with advanced medical institutions to enhance the national health sector.
