Amman, Aug 10 (Petra) – The Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Sunday warned of low horizontal visibility in eastern, southern, and central regions caused by heavy dust storms.
The PSD said weather conditions have led to intermittent closures of the Desert Highway and the Omari Road to protect public safety.
Drivers were urged to exercise extreme caution and adhere to instructions from security personnel regarding road closures or detours, with authorities emphasizing that these measures are taken to ensure the safety of road users.
