Amman, January 5 (Petra) – The Royal Medical Services has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by receiving official recognition from the Jordanian Medical Council for its fellowship programs in pediatric kidney diseases and pediatric immunology and allergy. This distinction positions the Royal Medical Services as the sole provider of such advanced programs in Jordan, enhancing the country’s reputation as a leader in medical education and expertise.
The recognition underscores the commitment of the Royal Medical Services to adopting international standards in medical education, while advancing the health sector by training highly specialized medical professionals capable of addressing complex medical challenges.
Brigadier General Wael Khreisat, Head of the Pediatrics Department, emphasized that this achievement strengthens Jordan’s role as a regional hub for specialized medical training. “The program offers critical care tailored for children facing sensitive kidney diseases, while the Immunology and Allergy Fellowship addresses complex genetic and acquired conditions requiring advanced expertise,” Khreisat explained.
He encouraged pediatricians seeking sub-specialization to seize this unparalleled opportunity, highlighting that the Royal Medical Services remains dedicated to integrating best practices and advancing its educational initiatives. These efforts aim to equip future physicians while fulfilling the community’s aspirations for world-class healthcare.
