Amman, Aug. 20 (Petra) – Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa on Wednesday issued Decree No. 143 of 2025 approving the temporary electoral system for the People’s Assembly, the state news agency SANA reported.
The decree sets the total number of seats in the People’s Assembly at 210 members, according to SANA.
