TRC Affirms Commitment to Public Safety from Electromagnetic Fields

Amman, August 20 (Petra) — The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding public health from potential risks linked to electromagnetic fields.

In a statement released Wednesday, the TRC emphasized that telecom companies must secure prior technical approval before installing any cellular towers. This process ensures full compliance with international safety standards for electromagnetic radiation.

To maintain transparency and safety, the Commission carries out routine on-site inspections to ensure that installed towers remain within safe emission limits and meet all regulatory conditions.

The TRC encouraged the public to report any concerns related to telecom services via its online complaint platform http://complaints.trc.gov.jo/TRCForm, email (Complaints&[email protected]), the toll-free number (117000), or through its social media channels.
