According to a ministry statement, the agreement aims to exchange updated information and data to support planning, projects, and effective policy-making, and to enhance service delivery through sharing data, particularly geographic information, for use in producing official statistics that support decision-makers.

Mahamid said the agreement covers cooperation in surveying, aerial and satellite imaging, training in surveying sciences, remote sensing, geographic information systems, and joint research projects.

Haddadin stressed the importance of the agreement in strengthening sustainable partnerships and institutionalizing data and imagery sharing according to classification levels. He noted that the center’s training in geomatics follows the latest technological and practical developments.

He added that the agreement reflects ongoing cooperation between the center and national institutions in both public and private sectors to leverage its capacities, in line with the Royal vision, to coordinate efforts and exchange information.
