Amman, Jan. 12 (Petra) – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh emphasized the critical need to enhance infrastructure and boost investment opportunities in the energy sector, with a particular focus on green hydrogen, mining, and renewable energy projects.
In a meeting held on Sunday to review the ministry’s progress within the Economic Modernization Vision, Kharabsheh highlighted the strategic importance of the energy and mining sectors.
The session evaluated the strategic linkage map of initiatives and their impact indicators, examining how well the ministry’s priorities align with these indicators and identifying new priorities for 2025.
The minister underscored the necessity of maintaining continuous communication with sector partners to reassess the executive program’s priorities, incorporate new targets, and ensure the development of actionable executive plans. He also stressed the importance of monitoring and following up on the agreed-upon priorities in collaboration with partners.
Kharabsheh reiterated the ministry’s commitment to achieving the goals set within the economic vision, aiming to enhance economic growth by increasing investments and creating new job opportunities as outlined in the vision’s timetable.
