Amman, Jan. 13 (Petra) — The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and North Amman Police have apprehended a suspect in Sunday’s homicide case where a victim was found deceased in his vehicle, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said Monday.
Investigators swiftly identified and located the suspect through forensic evidence collected at the crime scene and subsequent analysis.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to fatally strangling the victim during an altercation stemming from financial disputes, before abandoning the scene, according to the PSD statement.
The case has been referred to the Major Crimes Court prosecutor for further legal proceedings.
