Amman, January 15 (Petra) -Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan, Atallah Khairy, valued His Majesty King Abdullah II’s benefaction to dispatch the largest Jordanian relief and humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza people, who are suffering a 17-month genocidal war due to the ongoing Israeli military aggression.

In press statements Wednesday, the envoy said His Majesty’s direct supervision of the convoy’s delivery, which included 120 trucks loaded with various aid for the Palestinian people, reflects His Majesty’s firm and principled positions towards the Palestinian people, their rights and their cause, especially in difficult and dire circumstances.

The King’s stances also reflect his respect regionally and internationally at all levels, he said, praising Jordan’s efforts and positions in supporting the Palestinian people, which have not stopped for a single moment since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

Jordan’s stances, he noted, had a “remarkable” impact in all relief, political, diplomatic, judicial and legal fields and in all international institutions, especially the General Assembly, the UN Security Council, the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.

Furthermore, he referred to the airdrop operations instructed by His Majesty to deliver assiastance to the besieged Gaza Strip.

This great Royal initiative has opened a path for other countries to apply Jordan’s approach for this purpose, he pointed out.

Khairy said Palestinian people value all the continuous Royal moves and Jordanian positions and efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of Palestinian people and restoring their rights.

The diploamt valued the “great” efforts of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), which delivered this aid to the Palestinian people.

The ambassador pointed to the Kingdom’s “firm” political, diplomatic, judicial and legal battles in support of the Palestinian people, their rights and their cause.

Additionally, he commended the “prominent and major” role played by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, led by Ayman Safadi, and his defense to counter Israeli policies, procedures and aggression at the international and regional arenas.
