Irbid, Jan. 20 (Petra) – The Directorate of Education for the Irbid’s Bani Ubaid District, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate’s (PSD) Community Peace Center, organized an awareness workshop on Monday for school counselors to combat extremist ideologies.
The workshop aimed to educate school counselors and students about hate speech, rejecting violence and extremism, and the impact of social media and online games on societal harmony.
Nisreen Bakkar, Director of Education for the Bani Ubaid District, emphasized the Ministry of Education’s commitment to combating extremist ideologies and fostering an informed and cultured generation.
