Amman, February 4 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II, in a phone call on Tuesday with Senator Lindsey Graham, who chairs of the US Senate Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programmes, discussed regional developments.
According to a royal court statement, His Majesty highlighted the importance of the United States’ role in achieving peace and stability in the region, stressing the need to sustain the Gaza ceasefire in Gaza, step up humanitarian response efforts, and de-escalate the situation in the West Bank.
The call also covered ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States.
