Beirut, Feb 23 (Petra) — Israeli warplanes on Sunday carried out a series of raids on Southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley coinciding with funerals of Hezbollah leaders killed in previous Israeli airstrikes.
The raids targeted ????Wadi Gharb in Baalbek, al-Rehan hill, and Ahmadiya in southern Lebanon, according to a Lebanese source said.
It said Israeli aircraft also staged mock raids over the Southern Suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, coinciding with the funerals of Hezbollah leaders Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, who were killed in Israeli air strike on Beirut in September and October.
