
Amman, February 23 (Petra) — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Sunday inspected the markets of the civil and military consumer corporations in Ras al-Ain and Marj al-Hamam to assess their readiness ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
Accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Hassan commended the corporations for ensuring the availability of goods at reasonable prices, particularly during a period of heightened demand. He underscored the importance of serving citizens by maintaining affordability and quality.
Hassan also emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration between the corporations and cooperative associations and productive projects, by allocating dedicated spaces for their products within the markets to support their sustainability and growth.
Civil Consumer Corporation Director General Salman Qudah provided an overview of expansion plans, including the opening of new markets across the Kingdom and the extension of home delivery services to enhance accessibility.
At the Military Consumer Corporation, Hassan received a briefing from its Director General, Brigadier General Mohammad Hadid, who detailed efforts to maintain stable prices and expand the corporation’s market presence, particularly during Ramadan.
During his tour, the prime minister engaged with citizens regarding the availability and affordability of goods and extended his greetings ahead of the holy month.
