Amman, Feb. 23 (Petra) -President of the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions (GFJTU), Khaled Fanatseh, took part in the 13th National Congress of the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT), which concluded its activities Sunday, in Casablanca, with the participation of Arab and international trade union organizations.
According to a GFJTU statement, Fanatseh delivered a speech entitled: ” Trade Union Strategy and Importance of International Cooperation and Solidarity to Confront Global Challenges,” as part of an world symposium held as part of the event.
The symposium, which saw participation of heads and representatives of Arab and foreign labor organizations, discussed the “key” current labor issues of common interest and the need to enhance capabilities of the trade union movement to address global challenges.
Fanatseh presented the GFJTU shield to Secretary-General of the International Trade Union Confederation, Luc Triangle, in appreciation of his efforts in supporting Arab trade union entities and Miloudi Moukharik, UMT secretary general, to honor the the two countries’ relations in this field.
