Arab League Lauds Oman’s Efforts in Achieving Yemen CeasefireCairo, 8 May (ONA) —— The Arab League has commended the diplomatic efforts and mediation by the Sultanate of Oman, which contributed to reaching a ceasefire agreement in Yemen, alongside the efforts of the United States.The General Secretariat of the Arab League stated that it hopes the agreement will alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people, reduce current military escalation, and support ongoing diplomatic efforts to halt Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, as well as address other critical regional issues.
