New York, May 8 (Petra) – Jordan and the Kingdom of Lesotho signed a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations.
The statement aims to strengthen bilateral friendship and cooperation and “institutionalize” mutual collaboration in various fields, mainly in political, economic, social, cultural, and scientific areas to serve common interests.
On behalf of the two governments, the statement was signed Wednesday by Jordan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Mahmoud Daifallah Hmoud and Permanent Representative of Lesotho, Ambassador Matete Nena, at the headquarters of the Jordanian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
