Amman, May 17 (Petra) — The 20th Jordanian Parliament passed 15 laws in its first ordinary session, which opened on November 18, 2024, and will go into recess on Sunday.
The new legislation covered, among others, general statistics, Jordanian national building, a bill regulating the surveying profession and real estate offices, the Solidarity Fund for Reducing Agricultural Risks, residency and foreigners’ affairs, labor, civil aviation, customs, general electricity and cooperatives, Penal Code and crypto-assets regulation.
A Royal decree was issued Wednesday proroguing Parliament’s first ordinary session.
