Amman, May 18 (Petra) — A suspicious bag discovered in a dirt lot along Wasfi Al-Tal Street in central Amman prompted a swift security response on Saturday, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
In a statement, the PSD spokesperson said the Operations Room of the Central Amman Police received a report regarding the unattended bag. Specialized security units were immediately dispatched to the scene to investigate the matter.
Authorities cordoned off the area and conducted a thorough inspection in line with standard security protocols. The bag was ultimately found to be empty and posed no threat to public safety.
