Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/82 launches medical treatment services

Amman, May 18 (Petra) –Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/82 embarked on receiving patients in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, providing “comprehensive” medical and treatment services, aimed at alleviating suffering of Gaza people.

In a statement on Sunday, the hospital’s force commander said the facility reflects Jordan’s “commitment” to fulfill its humanitarian and medical mission towards the Palestinian people.

The commander added that the medical staff are keen to provide “advanced” treatment services despite the current circumstances and challenges facing the strip.

On its first day, the hospital received 485 medical cases, including minor surgeries, laboratory tests, and chronic disease follow-up.

The facility also received emergency cases at its specialized clinics to ensure that patients’ needs are met “efficiently.”

Additionally, the hospital employs qualified medical and nursing staff, as well as expert teams in supportive medical professions, which contribute to providing “high-quality” medical care.

Meanwhile, Gaza people expressed gratitude to Jordan, under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s leadership, for its continued support for the Palestinian people, stressing that these efforts reflect the two people’s “deep, brotherly” ties.
