Jordan condemns terrorist attack in Somalia

Amman, May 18 (Petra) — Jordan condemned on Sunday the terrorist attack in the Dhamanyo camp of the Somali army in Mogadishu, the capital, which resulted in numerous casualties.

In a statement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates spokesperson Sufyan Qudah expressed the Kingdom’s support and solidarity with Somalia in the face of this tragic incident and rejected all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilising security and stability.

Qudah extended condolences to the government and people of Somalia, as well as to the families of the victims, and he wished a swift recovery for the injured.
