Amman, May 18 (Petra) – A Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army source said on Sunday that troops from the Northern Military Zone foiled an infiltration attempt by an individual at one of its border fronts.
The source said the rules of engagement were applied and the individual was apprehended and transferred to the relevant authorities.
The military affirmed its commitment to using all capabilities to counter such acts and prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling in order to safeguard the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
