Civil defense teams respond to over 1,200 incidents in 24 hours

Amman, May 18 (Petra) – The Civil Defense Directorate responded to 1,259 incidents across the kingdom over the past 24 hours, including medical emergencies, rescue operations, and firefighting cases.

In a statement on Sunday, the directorate said it handled 1,021 medical emergencies with an average response time of 7 minutes and 33 seconds. It also responded to 107 rescue incidents with an average response time of 7 minutes and 36 seconds and 131 fire-related incidents with an average response time of 7 minutes and 37 seconds.

The directorate confirmed its ongoing commitment to delivering emergency and humanitarian services with the highest level of preparedness and efficiency to ensure the safety of citizens.
