Cairo, May 18 (Petra) – The Arab Parliament has condemned the terrorist attack on the Damanyo military base belonging to the Somali army in the capital Mogadishu, which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries.
In a statement, the Arab Parliament expressed its full support for the Federal Republic of Somalia in its efforts to combat terrorism and extremist ideologies. It also affirmed its backing for all measures taken by Somalia to confront extremist terrorist groups and expressed solidarity with the Somali leadership, government, parliament, and people during this time.
