Irbid, May 20 (Petra) – Acting Director of the Irbid Qasaba Education Directorate, Huda Shatnaween, welcomed a delegation on Tuesday from the Japanese Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs, along with representatives from the Japanese Embassy, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and World Vision International, during a visit to Al-Qadisiyah Elementary School for Girls.

The visit aimed to assess the accomplishments of a three-year inclusive education project funded by the Japanese government. The project supports the development of an inclusive learning environment that caters to children of all abilities and socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring access to tailored educational support and continuity in learning.

The delegation toured the school’s multi-disciplinary room and observed the use of educational tools and resources designed to foster inclusive learning. Members of the delegation praised the professionalism of the teaching staff and the progress made in improving educational inclusivity.

Shatnaween expressed her gratitude for Japan’s ongoing support to the education sector in Irbid, highlighting the positive impact it has had on enhancing educational services and promoting equity in learning opportunities.
