Gaza, May 20 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday that 87 Palestinians were killed and 290 others injured in the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli strikes.
In its daily statistical update, the Ministry noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews due to the ongoing hostilities.
The cumulative death toll since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7 has reached 53,573 killed and 121,688 wounded, according to the Ministry.
