Amman, May 20 (Petra) – Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD) , Maj. Gen. Dr. Obeidallah Maaytah, discussed ways to enhance the current joint cooperation, mainly in the training field, with Chief of the Palestinian Police, Maj. Gen. Allam Al-Saqqa, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting held on Tuesday at the PSD’s headquarters, Maaytah affirmed implementation of the Royal directives to support and maintain frameworks of partnership and cooperation with various law enforcement agencies at the regional and international levels, particularly with the Palestinian side.
Maaytah noted the PSD’s focus on enhancing existing cooperation with the Palestinian police to enable and build its personnel’s capacities to achieve the “highest” levels of performance.
Meanwhile, Al-Saqqa praised the PSD’s developments in various fields of work and expertise, and its capability to provide security and humanitarian services within “advanced” international standards.
Al-Saqqa also stressed his keenness to benefit from the “cutting-edge and accumulated” expertise in developing the police work of Palestinian police personnel.
