Beirut, May 24 (Petra) – Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated on Saturday evening that Lebanon continues its efforts, in coordination with the United States, France, and other friendly nations, to pressure Israel to cease its aggression and withdraw from Lebanese territories.
In a statement, Salam emphasized, “We have never stopped demanding the release of Lebanese prisoners and the full Israeli withdrawal from all occupied points.”
He also noted that Lebanon is actively engaging with the World Bank and donor institutions to mobilize necessary resources for reconstruction efforts and is working with friendly nations to secure greater assistance.
