Amman, May 25 (Petra)– On Sunday, temperatures are predicted to rise, making it hot in most places but hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the Badia. There will be moderate, sometimes strong northwesterly winds.
Temperatures are predicted to increase further on Monday, rising 6-7 degrees Celsius above normal for this time of year, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department. With some clouds showing up at high elevations, the weather will be hot throughout the region and comparatively hot over the highlands. The winds will be moderate, sometimes strong, and from the southeast to the southwest.
Today’s high and low temperatures in East Amman range from 34 to 23 degrees Celsius, as do those in West Amman (32 to 21), the northern highlands (29 to 19), the Shara highlands (30 to 17), the Badia regions (38 to 23), the plains regions (34 to 23), the northern Jordan Valley (39 to 24), the southern Jordan Valley (42 to 27), the Dead Sea (41 to 26), and the Gulf of Aqaba (41 to 25 degrees Celsius).
