QAIA signs deal with Extime JCDecaux Airport to revamp advertising experience

Amman, May 26 (Petra) – Airport International Group (AIG), operator of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), has signed an agreement with global airport advertising specialist Extime JCDecaux Airport to transform the advertising landscape at Jordan’s main gateway, aiming to significantly enhance both airport infrastructure and the traveler experience.

According to a statement issued by AIG on Monday, the partnership marks a major step in upgrading QAIA’s advertising infrastructure by introducing cutting-edge global standards. Extime JCDecaux Airport a brand under Extime Media will leverage its extensive international expertise to deliver a world-class advertising environment at the airport.

A new ISO 27001-certified broadcast system will be implemented, integrating all digital assets across QAIA into a secure, synchronized, and real-time network. This system will ensure seamless content delivery and operational efficiency and will be monitored 24/7 to maintain reliability and enable rapid detection and response to any disruptions.

The agreement also includes a revamp of fixed advertising installations. Lightboxes covered by Extime JCDecaux Airport’s advertising plan will be upgraded with energy-efficient LED lighting, reducing electricity consumption and operating costs.

For external airport advertising, large-format vertical Skytouch LED screens will be introduced. These displays are designed for durability and safety while offering high visual impact and energy efficiency. Additionally, advertising platforms across QAIA will undergo a comprehensive modernization, including the installation of larger digital screens and creative solutions in high-traffic areas to both enhance the passenger experience and boost ad revenue by creating more engaging brand environments.
