Gaza: 79 Killed, 163 Injured in 24 Hours Amid Ongoing Israeli Attacks

Gaza, May 27 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 79 people were killed and 163 others injured in the past 24 hours due to continued Israeli airstrikes.

In its daily update, the ministry stated that many victims remain trapped under rubble or on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews face ongoing difficulties in reaching affected areas.

The report also noted that the figures do not include casualties from hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, which remain largely inaccessible.

Since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the total death toll has reached 54,056, with 123,129 people injured.

From March 18 alone, the number of casualties has risen to 3,901 dead and 11,088 wounded.
