Moscow, May 27 (Petra) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday reiterated his country’s strong rejection of Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip, stressing the urgent need to deliver humanitarian aid to the enclave’s population.
Speaking at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Lavrov stated, “Russia fully agrees with Turkey in rejecting Israel’s actions in Gaza. These practices are completely unacceptable. Humanitarian aid must be delivered immediately to Gaza’s residents, and the war must end to pave the way for negotiations toward a two-state solution.”
