Gaza, May 28 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 28 people were killed and 179 injured in the past 24 hours due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
In its daily update, the ministry confirmed that the cumulative death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to 54,084, with 123,308 injured. The report noted that these figures exclude casualties from hospitals in northern Gaza, which remain inaccessible due to the ongoing attacks.
The ministry also stated that many victims remain trapped under rubble or lie in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense teams unable to reach them because of security conditions.
Since March 18, the number of deaths has reached 3,924, with 11,267 injured, highlighting the continued intensity and humanitarian impact of the Israeli aggression.
