Amman, June 12 (Petra) – The Northern Military Zone thwarted an infiltration attempt early Thursday morning along one of its border fronts, according to an official military source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army.
The source stated that three individuals were detected trying to cross the border illegally. Rules of engagement were applied, resulting in their arrest. The individuals were handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces remain fully committed to using all available resources to confront such threats decisively and to prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling, in order to safeguard the security and stability of the Kingdom.
