Cairo, June 23 (Petra) – EgyptAir, the national carrier of Egypt, announced on Monday the cancellation of all flights between Cairo International Airport and cities in the Gulf region, citing escalating regional tensions and the closure of airspace in several Gulf countries.
In a statement issued Monday evening, the airline said the decision will remain in effect until the situation stabilizes.
EgyptAir added that its Integrated Operations Center is closely monitoring developments around the clock.
