Jerusalem, 1 Jul (ONA) – Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of
Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem today, under heavy protection from the
occupation forces.Palestinian
news agency (WAFA) reported that the settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in successive
groups and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the
mosque, amid a heavy Israeli police presence around the Al-Qibli prayer hall
and the Dome of the Rock.The
Israeli police also imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers
through the mosque’s gates and confiscated the ID cards of a number of
worshippers, restricting their movement.—
