Ramallah, July 6 (Petra) — Several Palestinians suffered from suffocation on Sunday after Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
In a statement, the Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that Israeli forces fired live ammunition, toxic tear gas canisters, and stun grenades near the separation wall and Palestinian homes in the Dar Abu Al-Asal area of Al-Khader, causing multiple cases of suffocation among residents.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners Society confirmed that Israeli forces arrested 19 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank.
The arrests came during raids that involved heavy gunfire under claims that the detainees were wanted individuals, it added.
