Amman, July 8 (Petra) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi held a phone call on Tuesday with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares.
The two ministers discussed ongoing efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
They affirmed their support for the Egyptian, Qatari, and U.S. efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement, stressing the urgent need to halt the war on Gaza immediately and end the humanitarian catastrophe by opening all crossings for immediate aid access.
The ministers also reaffirmed the strong partnership between Jordan and Spain and their commitment to further developing bilateral relations.
